Postpartum Packages

Bringing baby home can sometimes be the hardest part of the birth journey.  Having in home care to help you learn how to swaddle and soothe, read newborn cues, learn to feed by breast or bottle, teach you to use a wrap or ring sling, handling baby centered chores so you can rest, and support your postpartum healing will help the "fourth trimester" go so much more smoothly by fostering your confidence as new parents and reducing incidence of postpartum mood disorders.

Postpartum shifts can include any of the following:

• newborn care
• postpartum healing support
• breastfeeding support
• learn how to use your breastpump
• learn how to do "paced bottle feeding"
• proper cleaning and sanitization of baby products
• sleep relief

• babywearing instruction for all types of infant carriers
• swaddling and soothing instruction
• learn to read your baby's cues 
• infant massage
• no-cry baths
• help with older children
• running errands, help getting to appointments
• laundry, dishes, and other baby-centered chores

Day Postpartum Shifts- $38/hour

• 3 hour minimum shift in Portland, 4 hour min outside of Portland

Postpartum Support
for Multiples

• 3 hour minimum shift for daytime - $40/ hour
• ​8 hour minimum shift for overnights- $42/ hour

Night Postpartum Shifts- $40/ hour

• 8 hour minimum shift 

24 or 48 hour continuous Shifts- $39/ hr

• ideal for home births or birth center births with no overnight after care, takes the pressure of immediate postpartum care off partner
• on call start; let us know when you go into labor and when you give birth so we can come over directly after your midwives head out
• our doulas will trade off shifts to provide seamless, continuous support
• $50 off placenta encapsulation with this service
