The support of a doula before, during, and after birth has been proven to improve birth outcomes and parents' satisfaction with the experience.  Whether you plan to give birth at home, in a birth center, or in a hospital, having an experienced doula will help you navigate your journey through labor by meeting with you prenatally to prepare, helping you pace yourself in early labor, joining you well before your medical provider is needed, staying by your side through the whole process, remaining after birth for the immediate recovery and skin to skin time, and following up with you in your home during the postpartum period.

-continuous support from time of hire to 12 weeks postpartum
-2 prenatal visits in your home to prepare for birth

We believe that everyone who wants a doula should have access to one, for those with financial constraints ask us about our scholarship fund.

Labor Support & Birth Photography Package

This package is everything included in a labor support package and a birth session from Rushes & Waves Birth Story Photography.  

The photographer will also attend one of the prenatal appointments with your doula in order to prepare for your birth.  During labor, your doula will handle calling in the photographer so she arrives at just the right time.  

You will also receive 10% off Bump, Baby, and Brood sessions from Rushes and Waves.
